Why is no one talking about mouth feel!? - France, ParisPosts: 671Registered UsersAt least she doesn't have alien eyes .
When are we going to see some videos ? Concept Arts are nice but they become very repetitive after a while sadly >.<.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I live in France.. I like animes, mangas, greek/egyptian and roman culture (antiquity + mythology). I usually play Total Warhammer or Battlefleet Gothic and sometimes Vermintide.
I play almost exclusively MP though 1 or 2 campaigns from time to time can't hurt . - Always be aware when a Content Refusing Troll Brigade (CRTB) representative is near. Contact your local Witch Hunter for further info.

The Queen of Mysteries, on the Book of Grudges.'Raise them, Necromancer. Set brother against brother. Let's give our hosts something worthy of recording in their pathetic book of complaints, shall we?'
Her voice was as rustling silk. 'In the darkness I dreamt of you, cousin.'
'Hawk no longer. My wings are dust and bone. I crawl through time now, like an asp.'
'You took my wings, Neferata. You made me crawl. Now I return the favour. Crawl, cousin. Crawl.'

Erm.. That's a crotch plate. I guess they will be similar to the Glade Ladies. Hybrid weapon specialists that can be buffed to high heaven through stat upgrades.

Those of you familiar with TT - Was a Princess Lord a list option for leading an army? Or has CA added the Princess to give us the option of male or female Lords (to match the Wood Elves in game) - edited May 2017
Hmm, not sure how I feel about that. ASSUMING(keyword) Princes and Princesses are identical in terms of stats and role in Campaign, I really don't like the idea of them being hybrid and not having a Shield. Sword and Shield just looks so much cooler for High Elves IMO. Of course it might be Sword and Shield and Sword and Bow respectively for Prince and Princess respectively. Alternatively it could be there are variants for each weapon style that can be either gender. Either way I really want Princes/ses to be Sword'n'board.

EDIT: Also, one thing that should be noted is that unlike Wood Elves and Dark Elves, High Elves DO have 'traditional' gender roles more in line with The Empire and Bretonnia, so this is a bit of a wierd option but I guess it works. I'm sure there are a few fighting females in Ulthuan. Just pointing it out as a bit of an odd choice, not that I will be crying about it. - Senior MemberGeorgia, USAPosts: 1,284Registered Users

There has been plenty of discussion about the game-mechanic known as defensive pacts while some saying it artificially hampers gameplay by gaming the system to resist the player.'And you spoke of being an heir to the throne, did you not, mother? Sure, but they also have kick-donkey units like the Sisters of Avelorn and the Maiden Guard of Avelorn, so not too far out. The High Elf military is totally equal when it comes to gender, as since every single inhabitant of ulthuan is required to serve in the military if needed, all women are trained fighters amongst the High Elves

I remember the minor stir her introduction caused when GW rolled her out because it was a rare showing of a female noble on the battlefield for High Elves. I also have my 8th Edition Armybook here that assures me that
You are aware that Tyrion's second in command and personal protege is a woman right? Eldyra of Tiranoc, the 8th edition army book even has an entire section in their big timeline about her defense against Sigvald's invasion of Ulthuan (spoiler she kicked his ***)
'Unlike the Elves of Ulthuan, and indeed much of the known world, the Wood Elves make no distinction between male and female when it comes to rank and duty, whether those responsibilities find their calling in war or peace. In the noble houses of Athel Loren, the daughter is as likely to inherit the family tide and rank as the son.'
Between that, and the dual rulership of the Phoenix King and the Everqueen and their respective delegated duties along with the statement that Ulthuan is ruled by tradition, it doesn't seem a reach at all to conclude its a kingdom where gender matters more than it does in the other Elven realms.Flag1·1Like

Altmer.jpg
Altmer, or more commonly known as High Elves, inhabit the Isle of Summerset (or Summerset Isle). They were the first race to bring language, arts, and culture to the continent of Tamriel, which might explain their arrogant and proud natures. They are the most magically proficient race in Tamriel.
The Altmer are members of the Aldmeri Dominion.
Racial Skills[edit]
The Altmer have the following Racial Skills:
Destruction Talent[edit]
Increases experience gain with the Destruction Staff skill line by 15%.

High Elf Nobles are the leaders of their own respected armies and companies, warriors whose skill at arms and years of experience far surpass those of any other mortal race. The noble families of Ulthuan have led the High Elves through times of peace and conflict for thousands of years. They pride themselves on a deep sense of honour, as well as the mastery of both diplomacy and war as art forms. The High Elves believe an existence lived without precision to be hollow, and scarcely preferable to death. Any Elf Noble is just at home fighting with a sword in bloody melee as he is loosing deathly-accurate arrows from afar, or even dictating the strategy of a campaign from a greater distance still.[1a]
Though they are loyal to the Phoenix King even unto death, all High Elves of noble blood love intrigue and politics. Unfortunately, this sometimes means that armies are trusted to individuals based on political alignment, rather than on ability. Fortunately these instances are rare -- when the safety of Ulthuan is at stake, few Phoenix Kings have suffered such idiocy for long. There is no shortage of brave and talented commanders among the Asur, and courtly intrigue seldom prevents such individuals from harnessing their skills.[1a]
